About morgan goodwin

I am a self-taught painter specializing in botanicals, nude figures and brightly-colored abstracts. My studio opened in 2016 and is based out of my 1920’s craftsman home in Central Texas that I share with my husband, two spunky girls, and posse of kittens. The urge to paint runs deep in my veins and is a calling that not only rings loudly, but fills a giant space in my heart. It is my greatest love language and the purest gift I can give to family, friends, and collectors.

HISTORY

Since I could hold a crayon, art played a leading role in my rose-colored bubble world. My schooling years were spent doodling in spirals or sprawled out on the tiled living room floor, paintbrush in hand. More often than not those drawings featured flowers or the female figure, both items I have a deep love and appreciation for.

It was not until my late twenties, after backpacking around the world and finding the love of my life, that I felt called and supported to follow my passions and purpose. In 2021 I decided to focus full-time on my artistic endeavors and embark on the adventure as a female-operated artisan business owner.

The mission of Morgan Goodwin Art is to fill the homes of my collectors with artwork that brings them immense joy.
